40th Anniversary Birthday Party

The special birthday celebrations took place on Sunday, 27th April 2008 at the Clubhouse.

Everybody in the locality was invited, not just club members.

Our Guest of Honour was Baroness Angela Billingham, who is President of the Oxfordshire Lawn Tennis Association,

There was a Birthday Cake, Homemade Cakes, Sandwiches, and Teas as well as various other entertainments.

A marquee displayed the general history of the club.

Inivitations were sent to all members in the last two years and to as many previous members as we had been able to contact.

Various other people were formerly invited including all our close neighbours.

This was an opportunity for the club to say thank you to all its members (past and present), to the local businesses who have supported us over the years and to the Parish Council who have helped us develop the club and its facilities to what they are today.

We even managed to sign up a few new members.
