Amongst our stars from yester-years,  John McEnroe gave an exhibition of his skills.

It was actually Nigel B in disguise. The hair of course was not his, but the shorts were!

Using wooden racquets and white balls, he was ably assisted by David W, Nikki R and Anna H.

Ann D umpired the match.

 It has got to be the real McEnroe

David was attired as Fred Perry in elegant long trousers and white blazer, whilst the girls were attired in white dresses and frilly knickers, so popular in decades past. “John” wore his traditional shorts, quaintly referred to as “snug”.

Fortunately for the umpire, Ann, there were no “McEnroe style” outbursts and the match was played with much good humour and quite a lot of laughs from the crowds.
