Past Chairmen of the Club
This being the 40th Anniversary Dinner Dance, all the previous Chairmen (including Lady Chairmen) were invited.
Our very first Chairman - the Founder of Goring Tennis Club - David Mitchell-Baker could not attend. He and his wife Jenny sent us a 40th Anniversary card with popping champagne corks pictured and their congratulations.
Amongst the past Chairmen at the dance there was a special mention for Frank C who served as Chairman over three seperate periods, stepping down finally in January 2008. He also provided a huge input in monitoring and overseeing the installation of our new courts in the late 1990s. Frank received an engraved Silver Salver in recognition of his outstanding services to the club.
